A Decade of Kosher in Berlin
KosherBerlin was founded out of a simple observation: Berlin had a growing Jewish community, an increasing number of Jewish visitors, and a city curious about Jewish culture and cuisine — but very few reliable kosher resources and almost no professional kosher catering of real quality.
We set out to change that. Starting with Catering services in 2014, we built a certified kosher catering operation from the ground up — one that could serve everyone from private families celebrating Shabbat to international embassies hosting official delegations.
Over time, KosherBerlin grew into something broader: a guide and authority for kosher life in the city. We document the restaurants, shops, and resources that make kosher living in Berlin possible, and we share what we’ve learned from over a decade on the ground.
Today, the Bobbe Group operates KosherBerlin as a community platform and guide, and Bobbe Catering as Berlin’s premier certified kosher catering service. Both are built on the same foundation: deep knowledge, genuine care, and an uncompromising commitment to Kashrut and quality.
